  • Fixed the app sometimes showing “offline” or “offline access expired” after it had been idle for a while, even when you were connected. It now re-checks your connection and signs you back in automatically when you return to the app.

Derivative fixes: aspect ratio, full batches, and web imports

  • Fixed aspect ratio being ignored on images brought in from the web scanner — your preset's aspect ratio (e.g. 16:9) is now applied as expected.
  • A single slow or stuck image no longer stops the rest of a batch — processing skips it and keeps going so the whole set finishes.
  • Web scanner imports are more reliable: when an image's preferred source fails to download, it now falls back to the original instead of failing.

Lossless WebP fix and a refreshed app layout

  • Fixed lossless WebP derivatives (Compression set to 0) coming out corrupt — showing as broken thumbnails — when pixel-density (DPI) was enabled. They now save and render correctly everywhere.
  • Refreshed the app layout: the output preset settings now live in their own panel on the right, the presets list on the left collapses to a slim icon rail to give you more room, the account menu moved down to the bottom of the presets sidebar, and the top bar is a touch slimmer.

  • Smart Crop and Smart Upscale no longer show as turned on for presets where you never enabled them — existing presets are corrected automatically the next time you open them.
  • The orange 'unsaved changes' dot now clears after a single save instead of needing a second save.
  • Fixed a 'preset save failed' database error that could happen when saving with ⌘S.
  • WebP derivatives that showed as broken thumbnails on macOS now render correctly.

Presets save again, plus the derivv CLI and steadier sign-in

  • Fixed a bug where saving an output preset silently failed — your presets save and stick again.
  • You stay signed in until you sign out yourself: fixed a launch-time case that could sign you out, and hardened how your session is stored and refreshed so transient hiccups never log you out.
  • Signing out of the desktop app no longer ends your web session, and a device you sign out from the web is detected the moment the app launches.
  • New `derivv load` command-line tool sends images or whole folders to the app, optionally preselecting a saved preset — e.g. `derivv load ./photos --config web-thumbs`.
  • Lifetime buyers now see their Founders Edition status and badge in the account menu.
  • Added an in-app banner that shows the days left when your trial is winding down.
  • Clearer compression labels ('best quality' / 'smallest file'), and the export toast now shows the destination folder.

  • 1.6.1's Windows sign-in fix still wasn't quite right — the chunk size was above Windows Credential Manager's actual hard limit. This release drops it to a safe value so sign-in actually works.

  • Fixed sign-in on Windows for accounts whose session data exceeded Windows Credential Manager's per-credential size limit. Sessions are now stored across multiple entries automatically.

Upload to S3 and WordPress, plus export layout controls

  • Upload your derivatives directly to Amazon S3 (and S3-compatible services) or WordPress without leaving the app. Save destinations in Preferences → Connections, pick one per preset under Output → Upload To, then hit the new upload icon (or ⌘⇧U) in the derivatives toolbar to ship the whole batch. Available on paid plans; credentials are encrypted on our servers and only sent to your machine when you trigger an upload
  • New Export Layout option groups derivative files into folders the way you actually want them: by source image, by file format, or by output width — plus a Bundle as .zip toggle that wraps the whole thing into a single archive named after the preset
  • New Overwrite Existing toggle decides what happens when a filename collides on export — leave it off (the new default) to get `name-2.jpg`, `name-3.jpg` suffixes that keep your previous exports intact, or flip it on to replace files in place
  • Undo a deleted dimension with ⌘Z or the Undo button in the confirmation toast — restores it at its original position in the list
  • Drag the left edge of the preset panel to resize it within a tight range; your choice persists across reloads
  • Heads-up: after updating, macOS will ask once for permission to read Derivv Pro's keychain entry. This is the OS's standard prompt — click Always Allow and you won't see it again. The new auth layer stores your session more securely than before
